I’m a train driver and I’ll tell you now, they are the worst hand signals I’ve ever seen. I’d be questioning what the hell he’s doing as I approached! 😂

all trains at Nottingham are marshalled into the platform by the dispatch team and using hand signals in the hours of daylight is perfectly acceptable

that is the worst stop short I've ever seen, unless EMR do it differently but there's usually a special bat with an S on it you should use and you're supposed to stand in one place

Every station got there own dispatch procedures. Some are CD/RA, DOO, Bat/RA etc. we just don’t press buttons and earn 80k yunno😅
