I spent 7months in halden prison and the luxury you get inside this place makes you respect everything in life. I’ve spent time in maxi in chergher and it made me worse.

This is why all prisons should be like this! Look at their re offending rate compared to the USA and UK! It’s very low! They focus more on rehabilitation and help them be better person in the community!

You actually make 30$ a day in Bastøy and halden. If you work in the kitchen or halway(maintenance/cleaning is 54$ in norway they prioritize rehabilitation and personal build up instead of punishment..
