Thank your for speaking about it. I suffer with emetophobia since I can remember. I’m taking Escitalopram and doing therapy. Still suffering a lot, but were able to get much better in avoiding and have more or less a normal life. Still

Luckily being in the medical field I don’t have this, but you put me in a lab and if I smell c-diff…🤢🤮 I can’t handle that at all.

I only fear vomiting because every time I do, I get gastritis like pain I’m my stomach afterwards and it’s excruciating and nothing I do helps. Even been to the ER for the pain and nothing they gave me helped. Had to wait for 4 hours or so to go away on its own. I cried for almost 4 hours straight. It hurt so bad. So now I try not to vomit even if I’m nauseous.

What anti anxiety meds are safe with tegretol xr for Epilepsy. I’m 76 have had epilepsy since I was 12. Controlled on meds. Still have auras on occasion. I tend to be an anxious person not depressed. Anticipatory anxiety dentist medical procedure. I’ve had breast cancer 2 hip replacements

Thank you for posting this. I have suffered from Emetaphobia since I was a young child. it has effected my life in many ways. I have never seen a doctor talk about this, so it is good to see you even mention it. nice to be recognized, even for something like this.
