@avpay: Walk around the Daher Kodiak 100 with me at the NBAA Static Display in Las Vegas. This aircraft is one of the most capable single-engine turboprops on the market, designed for short, rugged strips and built to handle real-world flying. In the video I mention something called a “discontinuous leading edge.” It’s an aerodynamic feature on the Kodiak’s wing where the outer section has a small step or break that changes how air flows at low speeds. The inner wing stalls first, keeping the outer wing and ailerons flying smoothly so the pilot maintains control even when flying slow or close to stall speed. It’s one of those subtle design details that make the Kodiak such a confident performer in bush and utility operations. #aviation #daher #aircraft #nbaa #pilotlife
