You know how they used to have Santa outside stores for the salvation army to collect donations? Last year there wasn't even a Santa and instead of a bucket they had a digital donations kiosk.

We bulk buy at BJs once a month then do about 3 small grocery trips a month for smaller things for planned weekly meals, fresh produce and snacks. Still spend about $500 a month. It’s insanity!

Where I live now? $15-$20. Where I lived before, $50 easily. Still way up in price from where it was before a few years ago.

🤦♀️You also have to look at what you're buying. Nuts, any nuts except for peanuts, are going to be expensive. They always have been. The Beyond meat is probably that high because of the extra processing it takes. You buy generic, keep to a budget, and make cuts where you can.

We’ve got to cut out nuts, especially Cashews. They are so expensive. They’ve always been really expensive so if you got rid of that, you’d have you’d be like $13 that’s doable
