I always ask for a human. It’s not just the job market, if you call a business or need to speak to a store. It’s always a robot that has preset answers so we can’t even talk to the thing. 😩😩😩

I absolutely hate having to make eye contact with a camera lens attached to systems to speak to a human. | Did a few interviews like that. Hated the entire process. | Yes, metrics of body language are scrutinized(dependent on entity). | They get to see you before you see them(submit recorded video as phase 1 of interview), kinda unfair and very much not human. | I hate ATS. | And many managers can't even hire anymore. Some keyboard pusher in a whole other state often decides without ever meeting or speaking to the candidate(experienced it and talked with managers job hunting[yrs ago]). | Job link, *click*, redirected to other jobpost on other jobsite but same info, *click*, redirected again same info different jobsite, *click*, redirect to actual job in state across country with actual info(most first seen data either fake or mashed up scammy scam sumptins) as low tier job instead of mid to high tier better paying job.
