For those who think people aren't excited or grateful enough: Most people whose lawns get this way are already exhausted. They're old, they're dealing with health issues, they can be wary of the outside and of other people. And sometimes, they can't believe someone actually showed up out of the blue to help them and can still be in shock. Everyone reacts differently, and just keep that in mind when people don't cry, jump, or fall over themselves when Spencer is done.

To those saying 'they're unappreciative', or "Spencer should help only those who need it" Spencer helps because its the good thing to do. He doesn't judge, he doesn't look down his nose, he does it with no expectation of return. A true giving human ❤️🥰❤️🥰

I understand the skepticism because this seems almost too good to be true but my gosh, the lack of gratitude and excitement some of these people have is so weird to me. I guess you never know what someone is going through but I’d be jumping for joy.

Guys he didnt even show any type of reaction, how is she being ungrateful having not seen the work??? Shes just skeptical bc most people dont offer services for free. She probably assumed since there wasnt a spiel trying to get her to buy stuff that he might not actually do it.

Idk what is so hard for everyone to understand here. She believed she was being scammed somehow and couldn’t bring herself to believe it was being done for her out of kindness. I’m sure (am hoping) she showed gratitude to him after some time.
