We were so excited to visit our friends at @SuthasPizzaTrenton, a wood-fired pizza restaurant in Trenton, and chat with them about how they're preparing to compete in Montreal's @PizzaFest_Challenge - the biggest professional pizza-making competition in Canada sponsored by Saputo Foodservice. It's taking place in Montreal, at the Grand Quay of the Old Port of Montreal on October 21-22. With over 100 competitors taking part, Chashmeet shared what sets Sutha's apart is their use of Saputo mozzarella, feta and fior di latte, and of course, their hand-stretched pizza dough. The pizzas are cooked in a massive custom-built wood oven, that runs on maple and apple wood. We had a great time getting this behind-the-scenes look of a Canadian-owned pizza restaurant.
