Now realize we're doing the exact same thing with Covid, it causes immune system dysfunction using a lot of the same mechanisms as HIV. Reminder that the acute infection of HIV didn't really harm ppl, it took ~10 yrs to grind down their immune systems. Now we're doing the same thing with Covid, while everyone pretends things are fine.
