Guy didn’t necessarily grab for the officers gun the officer was advancing on him and put it in his face and the guy smacked it away because he didn’t want to be shot

So the officer walked up to him with his gun out. If your gun is out, you maintain distance and challenge them to the ground while waiting for backup.
