The misinformation being spread about this zoo is insane. Keepers still go there and care for the Gorillas, their new habitat is due to open in spring 2026, they are allowed outside and they are still out and roaming their enclosure as if the zoo was open. If anything they must be loving the peace and quiet. Bristol zoo have made a video about it showing the enclosure and the gorillas behaviour. They are FINE.

This isn't new news! The animals from the old Bristol zoo are all slowly being taken to a new site just outside of the city. At this site, the gorillas have been built a new and improved enclosure 4x the size of the current one its just taken time to build hence why they have been staying at the old site with keepers going in a few times a day to care for them. They are due to move over within the next couple of months x

It’s actually sad why would they keep animals in zoo ‘s and especially those animals that are not habitat in that country. Humans are actually evil . I’m against zoos and keeping animals in zoos 😔😔

they are still fed daily and taken care of, some of the enclosures take time to be perfect, bristol zoo project make sure their enclosers are perfect for the animals
