gossiping with friends makes you feel more connected. it’s just opening up about your opinion on others and the environment around you. when someone shuts that dialogue down, it has a negative impact on the person trying to speak their mind. no one can act like they don’t love to vent and share info about things/people that are bothering them

All shit talking is gossip but not all gossiping is shit talking. We all literally gossip all the time- “omg guess who got married…” or “you’ll never guess who I ran into today” is gossip. If you think gossiping is bad, you probably just talk shit and don’t fr gossip.
