@josh_neille: Ashlee was over at Mum’s today playing with her two little wombats, Chili 🧸 the chocolate-coloured one 🍫, and Winker ⚡️ the silver one. It’s funny how they’re total opposites. Chili’s as chilled as her name sounds 😎 while Winker’s a full-on little menace 😜, classic boy vibes! Gives off total Gomez and Rocco energy already 💪🐻 They’re both doing awesome though 🙌 and playtime like this is such an important part of their development 🧩. At around nine months old, baby wombats are at that super interactive stage, playful, curious, and starting to learn how to use all that muscle they’ll need later to dig and defend their burrows 🕳️💪. In the wild, this is when they’d be getting braver, venturing just outside the pouch, and wrestling mum for fun 🌿🐾 It’s hilarious watching them bounce around thinking they’re little athletes 🏃‍♂️😂 when they barely get off the ground! They just love Ashlee 💚 and she’s got such a special way with them ✨. When I asked her if she reckons they’ll be back in the bush soon, she got all defensive, “Yeah, but not now!
