@dr.yousufzafar: Stage four cancer typically means the cancer has spread to other parts of the body. But it is not always a death sentence. More and more, we are seeing patients live years with some stage for cancers, and continue to work, travel, and be with their families. Having stage for cancer does not mean there’s no hope. It just means it’s a different kind of fight. #stage4cancer #cancer #oncology #cancertok #cancerawareness
my stepdad had stage 4 colon, stomach, reproductive and liver cancer, was given 6 months to live... 25 years ago. He's been in remission 20 years. 😊

I was diagnosed in January 2024 with stage 4 incurable colon cancer with metastasis in my liver (15 tumours) and a small tumour in my lung- the NHS informed me it was incurable and I’d need to have chemo forever- I did lots of research, advocated for myself and sought second opinion. I had a combined liver and lung resection privately 10 weeks ago and now have no evidence of disease. I am trying to find the new me and am keen to get my story out there- if I can help even just one person have hope, self advocate and push for other opinions it would be amazing. #incurablehasbeencured

Thank you for this. My mommy has Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. It is brutal and I know the statistics are really grim but she’s fighting and has already surpassed the timeline they gave her. That’s a win for us 🥲

I've got stage 4 Extra Skeletal Osteosarcoma. 5 year survival rate isnt great but I'll be hitting the 5 year mark in January after getting told that I'm still stable as of today having not had active chemo treatment since October 2021 and having had RFA ablation in summer 2022. Been back at work since march 2022 and pretty much back to normal within reason.

Love this! Doctors that have this kind of outlook are the best ones to have. As a stage 4 patient I don’t want a gloom and doom doctor! I am 2.5 years into my fight and have experienced so many beautiful moments since my diagnosis! I am not dying of cancer, I am living with it, and I have hope that I’ll be around for a long time! ❤

Thank you so much for this video. I was diagnosed with stage 4 anaplastic thyroid carcinoma in October of 2022. I was just 34 and my tumor was initially inoperable. I did treatment, had 2 surgeries and continued treatment for 2 plus years. I’ve been off treatment since June and still cancer free! In April I started working full time again at the same cancer center that saved my life. There is so much hope for so many of us!
