@anna..papalia: 80% of the impression you make in a job interview is non-verbal, so practice conifdent body language. ❌NEVER sit with your hands in your lap. ✅Take up space ✅Put your hands on the table and sit up straight ❌Do NOT give short answers I understand, you’re nervous and you’re worried that if  you open up too much you will reveal things about yourself that will disqualify you but it’s a greater risk that you will be disqualified because you don’t open up. It’s a recruiter’s job to figure out if you are technically qualified and a good culture fit and they can’t do their job assessing you if you don’t open up. ❌Don’t make the interviewers job difficult. ✅Show your personality and sell yourself. 👩🏼‍💻If you’re in a virtual interview over Zoom or Google Meet, practice using the technology before the interview. Play with the camera settings and find a professional background. ✅Your entire torso should be in the frame. Not just your forehead. ⚠️Remember, the way you present yourself in a job interview is how they think you are going to be when they hire you. ✅Prepare.
