I studied art in high school and university. It’s an interesting concept. A couple of things to keep in mind. Generally you want your eyes to flow through a piece, background to foreground and lead ins from the edges. The spirit figure is a different color palate than the rest of the painting, this combined with being centred and larger than any other image, your eye gets drawn there more than anything else. As far as composition, it can help to re-introduce colors into other areas instead of singular blocks of color (an example would be the fire colors introduced into the top of the painting, for balance and flow). Definitely potential with what you’re trying to do, and the messaging. Keep in up 🙂
