Coming from someone who’s parent is Indian, I can definitely tell u, I don’t see it insensitive at all. Infact your dishes look so mouthwatering, that I wouldn’t even think twice to learn authentic Indian cooking from yourself. What I really love about your channel is how you’re showing how tasty vegan and vegetarian dishes can be. Please do continue with the good work

2 things I noticed which proves that you know the authentic Indian cooking. 1. Spice box (masala dabba) 2. You sprinkled grated fresh coconut on Poha, that’s how Maharashtrians eat poha. Keep it up 🥰😋😋

The West is saturated with our food, style and culture e.g. yoga being diluted to suit the taste and pockets of the West, often without any acknowledgement or respect for its source. I believe it makes all the difference when you’ve immersed yourself in the culture, learned from people whose heritage it is, and carry out your work with integrity, as you have. So many Indians in the UK carry shame around our food as we look to “fit in”. Your curiosity and genuine splendour you find in something my family might cook reminds me we are worthy of that love and we are a wonderful melting pot of cultures, despite what the current political context of our country is showing 🥰
