Working as a manager in hospo and they dropped their resume in during the middle of the dinner rush. I said thanks, waited for them to walk out, and turned around to throw it straight in the bin. Turned back around to them standing there, because they'd come back in to ask for a business card. Somewhat awkward interaction after that.

literally this is what happened to me at my old job kids would hand in the resumes and mums would be standing behind them like a cheerleader and i’d just be like “thanks 🧍🏽♀️” 😭😭

at my old job i’d take resumes , look at them and decide if i wanted to work with them or not and give my bosses the ones i wanted to work with but they all turned out great
