The water buildup will cause a new crack.Futher weakening the foundation. Future homeowners looking at a 20k bill. Fix the issue on the outside. Or at least tell the new homeowners.

KBrace the inside, dig up the outside tar and seal add drainage with a sump if applicable, fix outside grade. Get gutters with downspouts to daylight or pop up admitters at least 20ft from foundation and add adjustable tie back/bracing. Problem fixed. Not the easiest way but the right way.

proper way is dig up outside install steel plate with tiebacks fix drainage issues and repair foundation covering it up and selling it is in fact criminal .

I did the same repair to the house 40 feet long foundation problem, but I did it from outside. I removed 4 feet wide and 5 feet deep dirt. I put one and a half feet wide by 5 feet deep concrete reinforce with rebar with the old foundation and I put 2 feet of stones after nice isolation and a huge drainage pipe in the bottom. And in the top I make 4 feet wide walkway with the pitch to keep the water far from my foundation and then I put nice gutter system with the covers and I make sure they function every year perfect. I own this property for the last 21 years and I never see new cracks in foundation this job was done by payin only labor so far so good😂

Never use dry lock it hold moisture in the wall will make it worse over time if you have any hair line cracks outside
