@curtisagardner: Most techs talk about change, but won’t change themselves. They say the industry’s broken, yet won’t even take the time to learn a new skill or invest in themselves. This trade doesn’t change because we complain about it. It changes when we get better — when we sharpen our skills, tighten our habits, and raise the standard together. Be the tech who proves it’s possible. #technicianlife #flatrate #growth #leadership #techgnarr
Techs have to change constantly. They have to learn new things, new procedures, new products. They have to change their plan of attack constantly in order to survive the flat rate system that has been weoponized by management against them. What doesn’t change is how they are looked at and treated by dealership owners and management. They are still using the same play book from the 90s and 2000s. They refuse to change and of course the techs are supposed to change again. It’s complete BS
