@aetheris.x1: Underwater sound is insanely powerful. A single sonar ping from a navy ship can reach over 200 decibels — that’s loud enough to shake your organs. In water, sound doesn’t fade like in air… it travels fast, and it hits everything in its path. Some whales literally die or beach themselves after hearing it. Now imagine a human diver too close to that sound… Pressure waves, internal bleeding, even lung rupture — all possible. So yeah, that “ping” sound in movies? In real life… it could be your last echo. #physics #sonar #sumbarine #viral #fyp

I heard a sonar ping on a beach above water and it sounded something like this only a little quieter

The ping can get up to 700 decibels if your close to the ship

fun fact: it did killed 47 underwater navy back in 2003 where after that, they upgraded the sonar to a human friendly one but still hurts to hear. source: Im one of the people that helped with the upgrade under the team Kepala Butuh with around 103 of us from all around the world.

that ping sound used in this video is actually inaccurate but ye the sqs 26 sonar system can hit decibel levels as high as 235 db, which is enough to quite literally liquify your organs

Btw humans won’t die even extremely close to navy sonar. The most extreme injuries you’ll receive are ear damage, nausea, and vertigo && this is if you are within tens of meters of the sonar source. Do research lol. The human body is mostly water so it actually handles pressure waves much better than animals filled with air filled organs….. why do whales die ? Because they have enormous air filled sinuses and special pressure chambers ..these sounds cause reactions from the whales tricking them into surfacing too fast… which leads to decompression sickness which leads to internal injury and death.

US Navy sonar emits 235-decibel pressure waves. 200 Db, the vibrations can rupture your lungs, and above 210 Db, the lethal noise can bore straight through your brain until it hemorrhages that delicate tissue

the ones u hear from outside are passive sonar ping cause a human would easily explode from the active ping (if its closer that 1 or 2 km)
