Would the de icer be an issue with burning their feet if they happen to get into their drinking water? We can easily reach -30°F without the windchill 😬

I live in up-state ny .if you want a good laugh. my frist winter with my feathered friends i let them use my personal bathroom tub .3 years later im still finding feathers 🪶 🙃 if that's not true love i don't know what is lol

Can you just undo the water hose then connect it back again when u need water? That’s what we do but I’m in Texas so cold isn’t really a problem down here 😂

make sure you know what de icer is compatible with. some devices are only good on metal structures. the larger models are typically for metal only troughs

Tips for frozen outdoor hoses. Get a frost free spigot and a dark hose. Remove the hose after every use and put it somewhere warm.

Where I'm at we get into the -20's ( celcius ) , one winter was in the mid-high -30's even. I usually have to bring them in for a bath and dry them before going back out 👊😔
