@thefilmforyou: Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby was pure spectacle and tragedy rolled into one. Released in 2013, it brought F. Scott Fitzgerald’s timeless story of love, excess, and illusion to life with stunning visuals, glittering parties, and a haunting sense of longing beneath it all. Leonardo DiCaprio’s Gatsby wasn’t just a dreamer; he was a man chasing an illusion that was never his to begin with. Every frame shimmered with beauty and heartbreak, capturing the roaring twenties in all their glamour and emptiness. A film that reminds us how far we’ll go for the past we can’t reclaim. How would you rate The Great Gatsby out of 10? #thegreatgatsby #thegreatgatsbymovie #thegreatgatsby2013
