This isn't a hot take, it's just a falsehood. Families weren't united and understood eachother well back then. Before feminism, women were literal slaves in the home, forced to take care of children, clean and cook 24/7 for free and had absolutely no say in the matter. They had no political power, and society pressured them to conform to this lifestyle. All feminism does is tell women that they don't owe men anything just because they're women. The reason women are miserable is not because they aren't housekeepers, it's because we still live in a patriarchal capitalist society where female workers receive even worse compensation, workplace protection and rights than male workers who often don't have it that well either to begin with. It's because we live in a society where objectifying women isn't just normal but encouraged, to the point the average woman is going to be terrified of walking alone at night because someone could take advantage of her. Women also aren't "naturally born" to be housekeepers. There are many independent women who are successful architects, CEOs, scientists, artists, engineers and so on, just like a man isn't born to be a provider and could himself take a nurturing role, clean, and cook. Also, cite your sources instead of saying "look at the statistics", it makes you lose credibility and your information appear based on vibes.

Suffrage was actually almost entirely women wanting the vote so they could enable better Gov policies for their family. The movement got lost in the free love of the 60’s when the message changed from a family perspective to an individualistic perspective and separated sex from family life.

what your saying isnt accurate, marital rape was not made illegal till 1993, no fault divorce was not widely recognized till early 2000s, after those passed, suicide rates among women plumeted insane amounts. women were never doing good and happy, some maybe, but many were playing a part to survive and not stir the pot
