Exfoliate your lips first. Elf has a really cheap lip exfoliater but you can also make one yourself with sugar and oil

i use a q tip with micellar water (or my spit if i’m feeling lazy) and take it on the excess and it works!! it’s like it was never stuck in the cracks

if you don't have a lip scrub just use some olive oil mixed with sugar, masage it in, rinse it out and apply lip balm, wait a little and wipe it of and it should be better! 🩷
