@cassondrachristman: Sweetie Pie hasn’t been having much luck with people coming in to meet her. She has until 10/30. She is looking for a patient understanding family with either a shy dog who won’t initially be that interested in her unless she approaches and instigates play or no dogs and no cats. She has lived with kids 8-10. She is shy and scared of strangers (bark and flees) but warms up quickly to women, takes a bit longer with men. She is potty trained and lived in a foster home for months before they went back to the mainland she did great left alone inside. When she’s comfortable she loves the kiddy pool, her toys and cuddles. A fenced yard would be a huge plus!! Come on in and meet her if you’re on Maui. Off island adoptions are possible but need to be guaranteed good situation, ex no other dogs, no cats, knowledge of her behavior and ability to work with her on her fears.
