For over a century the smartest people alive have tried to explain how a piece of matter produces awareness. They have failed. Completely. They can measure the brain down to a single neuron firing. They still cannot tell you why any of it is experienced at all. Why there is something it feels like to be you. They call it the hard problem of consciousness, and it stays unsolved because they are facing the wrong direction. They keep trying to pull awareness out of matter. It was always the other way around. You have never experienced a brain creating consciousness. Look at it directly. Everything you know about brains, the images, the diagrams, the words of scientists, all of it arrived as an experience inside your awareness. The brain appears to you. Awareness is what it appears within. You cannot step outside your own consciousness to catch a brain producing it, because there is no outside. Consciousness is not an object in your world. It is the field every object shows up in. You were told you are a body that briefly became aware. A flicker of chemistry waiting to switch off. You are not the thing inside the field. You are the field. The brain, the body, the world, all of it has only ever appeared inside the awareness you are. That awareness was never produced by anything. It is the one thing that was always already here. And this is not just philosophy. If you are the field reality appears within, your life is not happening to you from the outside. It is taking shape within you, according to what you hold. The world is not creating your experience. Your consciousness is.
