For those wondering, Officer Jarrot wasn’t pulling Omar Cueva (the suspect) over for just tinted windows, it was an investigation lead by HSI who contacted the local PD to pull over this guy without raising too much suspicion and homeland security officials following their trail. With little pieces of information that HS gave to PD, omar being heavily armed and dangerous was one of them (most likely) lead to the death of Officer Jarrot and the suspect after a 40 mile chase. Gut wrenching nonetheless RIP to the officer

This is so sad, he was asked to make a stop but not about the level of the danger the occupants presented. He was staying professional. He was the closest one to the vehicle to stop it but was way outmatched & unaware of the danger. He was simply not given all the details because he would have acted differently. It got him killed. So very sad. He showed decency because he thought he was lost doing a traffic stop. But they were fugatives.
