theres a short story of what the brutes do to a bunch of captive humans and that alone makes them the scariest species outside of the flood to fight.

they also make up the Scarab tank. but they aren't singular beings they're a colony of worms named by species "Lekgolo" but they certainly aren't the scariest. id give that to the elites as they live by an honor system similar to what Japan had during ww2 essentially no surrender and dying for their religious leaders. but this is my opinion only tho
