That extra blade is the dethatch blade, the one on it when it comes is the scarifier blade. I ended up scarifying my lawn and pulled 5 1/2 contractor trash bags full out of my lawn. It's good though since it needed it bad. Hopefully I can overseed my lawn and have a better lawn next spring.
