It's just the gummy don't put too much thought into it 😂 I grew up 2 miles from the base of the trail. several times a year as teenagers we'd ride our bikes to the base and hike up. sometimes we'd take flashlights and stay til dark. your worst worry would be a bear and even they're skiddish

I’m in Tazewell Co. Va we have a family home on top of Jewell Ridge Mt and we have been working up there on the house it is 86 year old house and we have a small yard but 20 acres of woods and hear stuff snapping and popping and cracking all the time but truthfully one of the most peaceful places on earth
