If I were to tell 28 year old me that in just 3 years she’d be in the happiest phase of her life married to the man who her ROCD targeted on the daily in her head, she would literally be shook. I always said that getting into the therapeutic field for me was about just helping at least make at least one person feel a little less alone, then it means that I was doing something right. I started sharing my OCD story on TikTok (something I said to myself I’d never do because I was scared of what people would think of me or whatever) in the same hopes- of making at least one person feel a little less alone.
