I went no contact with my mom about 10 years ago. It’s been mostly lovely! I still think about her periodically but the peace and growth I have gained without her in my life has been incredible. My mother went through cancer treatment the last few years and I decided to continue to stay away. My mom texted me for years and I ignored them. They were vids for attention, not connection.

In 2020 I cut ties with what I thought was every maga family memeber. And they want to be in your kids life, so they can manipulate them into the maga mindset. They will use her health as a catalyst.

I'm so sorry, as a father this breaks my heart,and I'll pray you get some type of healing from this, because I lost my mum 30 years ago yesterday and I'd give anything to hug my mum,and you are doing the right thing as hard as it maybe, because narcissist will do anything to win, yes even when dying, my father was a narcissist and he acted that way til the day he died, I walked away at some point, and as much as I wanted to be there when he passed,it just wasn't healthy for me, I wrote him a letter after he passed,burned it and let the winds carry it to him ,and the day I went no contact I started healing,God bless 🙏💚🖖
