@nadiaannaliseo: Edit: guys if your children does all of these things it doesn’t mean that they have autism. These things alone can definitely be displayed by neurotypical children I’m not disregarding that. However people saying this is all babies and this ‘normal’ (whatever normal is) in Raiynes case it was something more she’s soon to be 5 and still does all of these things. You don’t think we seen her do these things a few times and went and got her diagnosed, these were behaviours that she was displaying day in day out repeatedly to the point it takes over day to day to life. For those saying I’m scaring new parents, all I’ve done is share my experience, no where have I said if your child does this then they’re autistic too, it’s a spectrum and everyone’s journeys will be different, I’ve just shared what signs we saw that got Raiyne seen and diagnosed. Id like to think you’d know or have concerns of autism before watching a 60 second video and self diagnosing your 6 month olds. You would know trust me. We always knew it from before she’d even turned 1, she was referred at 16 months and then diagnosed at just 2 years old #autism #signs #autismawareness #autismacceptance

I have seen my cousins, nephews, nieces, children and grandchildren grow up and they all did this..it’s normal toddler behaviour so I cant see why you are labelling it autism 😏

to any new parent watching this… DON’T!!! Not a single one of these things is accurate. If anything is happening here it is more likely Munchhausen by proxy.

yall acting like an autism diagnosis is given out like a free sample, this is what autism looks like in alot of babies because they cant communicate yet.

Some of these comments are awful and obviously shows lack of awareness of ASD. My daughter was diagnosed 2 days before her third birthday and showed all these signs, it's like watching a mirror image of her on the screen. It's not labelling them young, it's pushing for a diagnosis while they're still young as early intervention and support is best. I agree most young children display similar behaviours, but having my autistic child grow alongside her non autistic cousin of exactly the same age, they have not and do not act or behave the same.

As others have said yes most is “normal” but what they don’t realise is how repetitive these behaviours are, and most of the time they correlate to what’s going on around them, which then means it’s classed as stimming -

I am so sick of people. She is simply sharing what she noticed that indicated her child is autistic. Who are you to basically tell her what her child goes through is invalid that it doesn’t hold any weight? Yes it may come off as normal behaviors, but that doesn’t mean we have to minimize her experiences with her child. I see you momma.

How can they diagnose her at this age when a lot of these things are developmentally normal at 2? I thought that’s why they wait till 5 to make these decisions as it’s if they don’t grow out of it and I thought only have these early diagnosis for non verbal/not sleeping children
