Esto es una absoluta mentira, la célula genera la cantidad de mitocondrias que necesite. Y puede generarlas relativamente rápido.

100% mitochondrial output in a 75 year old human body would be disastrous. like powering a 12v bulb with 220v AC.

John :
Actually, mitochondria produces ATP, energy potential fuel for the cells. And this production is tightly controlled through a feedback loop to prevent excess ATPs in the body. what would a body do with these excess ATP molecules? Proliferate cancer cells? Inflammation ??
