EVERYTHING was better when we were in 8th grade, the TV shows,the fashion trends and the music. For some reason everyone I talk to (of the approx same age) agrees that it was great in 8th grade. Then a steady incline till 10th, and everything peaked in 10th grade. Then it was a steady decline. I personally think college is great as well but 10th grade was peak, can't argue with that.

When I had long hair I tried a side part. I don't think it worked. The hair on the sides was too long.
