It smells like formaldehyde and like a weird sweet and almost sanitary smell almost like a doctors office, still a very distinct smell.

Outdoor mausoleums are the better option. The indoor ones have a unique smell associated with funeral body preparations and slightly floral

I was in a mausoleum and the ventilation was broke it was hot it was July. It smelled so so bad. They were getting it fixed but we didn’t stay long.
