For those confused he ended TBBT because he felt he was to old for the character and felt like he didn’t have those Sheldon aspects in him anymore so he ended it for the sake of the whole sitcom.

It was a smart decision by Jim Parsons because if they had continued the show for much longer, the storyline might have lost its appeal and become boring. It doesn't need to run for 20 years to be considered great. What's important is that the story wasn't ruined just because they didn't want the show to end. It's better this way, because a show can become disappointing if it goes on for 20 years and starts to feel pointless. Some shows are only great at the beginning and then become boring later on. Besides, 12 years is already more than a decade that's a very long run.I think it was a good decision. The story was already near its end. Almost everybody got married, some had kids, and everyone achieved their goals. They gave us the full story after 12 years. Sometimes shows that run for so long become boring, so it's okay that it ended this way. The cast is getting older too. We already have so many episodes to rewatch. What a great show, and the ending was amazing as well.

12 seasons was more than enough. I hate when they carry on shows and kill them. I’m glad it ended where it did and it’ll always remain one of the best sitcoms 🥰

The show ended perfectly we owe it to him for calling it quits when it did it would’ve suffered the fates of many shows where actors keep dropping and the plot lines downgrade in quality. It would’ve suffered from Covid too which inevitably ruined a lot of media we were expecting great things out of

No way peoplr are hating, I LOVEEEEDD tbbt, it’s my fav and comfort sitcom, but the show needed to reach its end, if gone any longer it would’ve been milked and spoiled, 12 seasons is already a lot of content, just rewatch 😭😭

No continuar fue la mejor y peor decisión. La serie en sí es perfecta y la podríamos ver mil veces si queremos. Quizás continuarla hubiera hecho que pierda su esencia, quizás dije, porque quizás hubiera seguido siendo perfecta. ❤
