Been trying for years but I woke up when I started senior highschool. My dad couldnt even come to my 10th grade moving up, and I only ever get a "congrats" and a snack for always being an academic achiever. I gave up and now they miss those times where I would actually try, but they never stopped to think if they ever actually showed their appreciation for my hardwork

Almost fcking faint while trying my best to at least get in top 3 in badminton so I could make my parents proud but still it wasn’t even close

I’m gonna vent rq. I ride horses and wrestle but my parents don’t like that u do those things. I did basketball and volleyball and they are super supportive but I hate basketball and volleyball is my third choice. They hate that I do my two favorite things but never once complained that I did sports I hate but when I do things I love they don’t put one ounce of support into it. I hate having dreams and not having anyone to support me and it’s so draining.
