@cahillcrew: I didn’t think I would feel emotional about my son’s girlfriend celebrating her senior night, but it got me thinking how grateful I am for the love and lessons she has brought to not only my son, but to me. While who knows what their future holds, maybe they’ll break up tomorrow or maybe years from now they’ll be sharing their story of how they started out as high school sweethearts. None of that matters. What matters is when you start to realize how the people that come into your children’s lives, whether it be temporary or permanent, help to shape the human you created. And that can be a beautiful thing for a mother to sit back and watch. P.S.
