By the time Sora 2 was pulled just two days after its launch due to copyright issues, I had already been inundated with an overwhelming flood of its videos and stopped watching them. I much prefer genuine human-created content.

Yeah, i’m already out when it comes to AI slop. Digital experience has become an untrustworthy place now. This just accelerates the rot of online trust. I work in AI at a fintech, so I see AI value in automation and operational efficiency. But as a consumer, I’m craving authentic in person experiences now. I wonder how many more are pulling away because of AI being shoved into everything.

I believe (tin foil hat on) that Open AI want to kill off TikTok so they get more eyeballs away from TikTok. How do you do this? Create a slop machine, genuine creators are drowned out by AI and the whole platform collapses.
