Almost every country adopts capitalism as the primary economic model. And it works fanatastic when checked. Saudi Arabia and the rest of the gulf states also adopts capitalism primarily, but with a lot of socialist safety nets. I agree with that model, and our leaders generiously provided this model for the benefits of us and also them. We , the people, are very happy. You have to realize that unchecked capitalism will destroy your society, same as unchecked communism or socialism.

It never about the resources. Japan had almost no natural resources. Yet the were the 2nd economy in the world. While Venezuela has more oil then Saudi and lot of natural resources and it consider one of the poorest countries
