I almost broke up with him over it, but it’s an understanding on both sides. Conversations on text won’t always last long like they did. It’s harder to see effort when they aren’t constantly there. We went from a 5 minute drive to over 3 hours. Social media has really destroyed the aspect that you don’t always have to talk. But i understand the fear. Idk if any of that made sense but you can live your life. You don’t have to sit at the phone and wait for him! You both will feel so much better living your own lives? if that makes any sense. It gives you guys something to talk about, and you won’t be as mentally exhausted. The more you take care of yourself the better it might feel. My boyfriend was never a texter and i got so mad at him for it, but we made sacrifices. Sorry if none of this made sense but i’ve been in your shoes
