I remember when I was a daycare teacher I went out to dinner with a friend and ordered a margarita. There happened to be a daycare family at the restaurant and I got yelled at for drinking and how it gives a bad image for the daycare. The parents even called the owner the next day and complained. Like I’m sorry but why can’t we be normal people when we are not working.

and how is unsolicited advice NOT disrespectful. The only time I give unasked for advice is if I’m mopping the lobby and I don’t trust the customer to immediately notice the yellow caution signs. I’ll just say hey, just mopped watch your step.
