@ayeee.angelica: Idk about you guys but when planning my trip this was the ONLY private onsen I found at a good price & with such good perks! I truly loved it here & wished we had more time to explore the facility because it was SO big and for only 21 dollars they had arcade games, foot baths like 6 different public onsens, gardens. Just such a fun place and if you have time I would totally reccomend ! Also if you have tattoos- since I didn’t go to the public onsens I didn’t have to purchase anything to cover my tattoos ( also they are super tiny so I got away with not paying ) but if so they do sell stickers for the public onsens at around 5-10 dollars depending on the size. you need to check out kudochi sauna the rooms are all different and about the same price for 90 minutes but you need to check it out multiple locations in tokyo

Sorry to say you didn’t get the real onsen experience. The public ones are so beautiful and there are like 15 different baths with different temperatures. I have done both public and private ones and the private ones do not compare. Do not rob yourself of the real onsen experience!

PSA: public onsens are usually only 500-1500 yen (3-13 dollars) with no time limit ... not nearly as expensive as private baths. Not hating. Just seems incorrect to call that inexpensive for only 90 mn. Source: I live here
