Had a neighbor stealing power to heat his shed one winter.....Temporarily rewired the outlet to a 240 50amp breaker, and turned the breaker on. Didn't have to say a thing, the Fire Department found the extension cord, called in the police. Neighbor got charged, and also lost a few thousand $ in tools and stuff. By the time they were investigating the outlet was back to 120v 15amp..👍👍

Call the police, they may not be able to do anything, but they're going to make a report about it You got some documentation then the next step, you would probably have to take them to court for it.Then you can charge them 3 times as much than the power company and if it was a plug.Why didn't you just unplug it?If it's a wire you can suit them for elillegally hooking into your power box and could have started a fire
