Langebaan was even more beautiful before the late 90s. It had the most beautiful beaches and mini dunes that stretch all around its coastline. Then they widened the inlet of the lagoon from the ocean for larger vessels to enter and those beaches and dunes got swallowed up. Some peoples beachfront houses were flooded and they had to build walls and place Dolos to keep the water back.
