I always found Krakauer's perspective in Into Thin Air really uncomfortable. The way he criticised Boukrev for climbing without oxygen, when he himself benefitted from a guide GIVING him his oxygen to survive....I dunno. He irks me 😂

I literally been on Everest tok so long I even showed my father your vids & explaining to him what’s going on . He said well look at you turning into National Geographic 😂😂😂😂.

My opinion is that had Boukreev not descended early, the 3 people he rescued would have died along with Namba. He wanted to save Namba and Beck as well, he didn’t have any energy left and they weren’t able to move on their own. Beck’s survival story is truly insane.

movie is fine but seems like they filmed more and cut a lot, i was confused first time i wached, but after watching these tiktoks, they filled those gaps in the plot. it should be series not film, too much had happened, so they decided to focus on Robs story more.
