muratic acid will do same thing at 5 dollars a gallon. I used it to fix and clean an old toilet in my new house. nothing would get it clean from hard water stains. I soaked it in muratic acid. looks like new now

Whatever calcium and lime remover you use will work best if you take tape and go along all of the holes. Effectively closing the holes. Then put the stuff if the overflow. Let it sit for a few hrs then remove the tape and flush. Works way better than just dumping it like he did.
