The cops were doing their job. I love how people act like they know what to do after watching a video in the comfort of their home. My assumption is that this is their standard protocol. And they are following that. Other than the guns being pointed (again probably protocol) they were not hostile to them in any other way. Ya’ll need to chill. And as you see because the couple did nothing wrong they did what they were told and nothing escalated. This guy is just speaking lawyer talk, repeating the same thing (guns being pointed, etc) to get people to think it’s way worse than it is.

I’d take that car straight back to the rental demand my money back then get a lawyer and sue them for reporting it stolen and I’d sue the cops for the treatment they gave

I'm getting the impression that a car has more Worth than a human life in the USA , utter lack of communication, and common sense, guns!!! dogs!!! total over kill for a car, stolen or other wise , someone could have been killed over paper work.
